The most dangerous things for swaying

For all:
Do not go over any amount listed on a side of a bottle of medicine!  Drugs have a limit for a reason.  Going against what they advice can cause death. Even if I tell you to take more of something don't do it as I am probably making a stupid mistake because I am not a doctor.  In the end you are the one responsible for your own health. 
DO NOT DO HOME IUI.  Do not place anything into your uterus.  No tubes no matter what kits you find on the Internet.  The reason for this is you can cause great infection and death.  There are 3 parts to the vj (simplified).  The main area of the vj (where the penis goes), then the cervix (this dips down like a cone and has a hole in the middle leads a tunnel up into the uterus) and the uterus.  Where this post is talking about is inside the cervix (up in the tunnel) and into the uterus.
Do not take any supplements if you have a health condition (like thyroid or so on) read this

Too much water or to fast can lead to death
Too much copper will kill you.. NEVER TAKE MORE THAN 3mg A DAY (sometimes copper is found in multi vitamins)
You need to take one pill at a time.  If you take more than one it may get stuck near your esophagus and cause an esophagus ulcer. More info read this

**all other supplements have there risks and side effects posted in the FAQ forum.. these are just the most dangerous ones.  For a list of how much is to much.. please read the FAQ.. I put the max amount aloud there.
*If you ever experience a serious side effect caused by swaying please let us know right away so we may update this list.
For ttc a boy:
Alfalfa mixed with Black Cohosh.. for that mater black cohosh (or blue) is very dangerous.  taking alfalfa with Cohosh can cause your liver to die needing a donner or you die. 
Too much potassium (more than 5000mg total):  Taking to much potassium to fast can cause heart problems.. which can also lead to death.  But more likely an embarrassing er visit explaining to the er doc why your taking so much potassium and how it makes your heart have palpitations.  read this
Too much baking soda (more than six 1/2 tsp a day (which is 3tsp a day or  3696mg -note total will include Alika seltzer if you take that as well):  Can throw off electrolytes and lead to shock and even death
Too much caffeine can also kill you.  Please follow the directions on the bottle if you use caffeine pills. read this
Royal Jelly and Bee Pollen- Although not in FAQ, some are taking this for ttc a boy.  If so please note...If you are allergic to bees you cannot take it.  Also if you are an Asthmatic you need to becareful.  found here
For ttc a girl:
Too much calcium (more than 3000mg a day combined):  Can lead to kidney stones and other complications
Too much magnesium (more than 600mg combined):  Can lead to anxiety attacks and other complications
Too much Cranberry (this is individual as to how much is to much) :  Is a blood thinner and can not be mixed with prescription blood thinner.  Too much cranberry can also cause kidney stones and headaches.  If you are prone to Anemia cranberry can make it worse.  Please read this
Too much Licorice root (more than 1350mg):  Make sure to follow directions in ttc girl facts.  Risks found here
Saw Palmento- Can not be taken in the 2ww or when Pregnant can not be taken while breast feeding.  "It may have an additive effect if taken with anti-androgen drugs that reduce the levels of male sex hormones, such as finasteride (Prosca, Propecia) or flutamide (Eulexin). In theory, it could interfere with birth control pills or hormone replacement therapy in women." "saw palmetto can cause erectile dysfunction and decreased libido. Also, if you have cholesterol problems, saw palmetto might not be the drug for you because it beta-sitosterol." read warnings
Douching- Real douching does have a risk for etopic pregnancy.  However you are not doing that kind of douching for swaying.  The hour before douche can not cause etopic.  The followup douche isn't a douche because it is only using 1-3ml of liquid and so will not cause etopic pg.  Do  not douche (use an entire douche bag) right after bd as this is what can cause etopic pg.  read this
Vitamin C:  2,000 to 5,000 mg per day can cause miscarriage
Aspertame:  Aspartame is the number one way to lower pH fast in cm however, aspartame is not safe for 2% of the people who are allergic to phenylketonurics.  there are websites that say aspartame is not safe for anyone, and some studies that back this up (most crunchy moms believe this); however as it stands now, the FDA says it is safe. The FDA is smarter than me.  Some people feel the FDA is paid off by chemical companies; whether this is founded or not is up to debate.  I do not want to debate. Bottom line, if you do not feel aspartame is safe do not use it.  However, till the FDA changes there stance the FAQ will not change because aspartame works so well for most people. Please note!  You can not chose just one thing!  Ions are a balancing act.  You want to fill up one side of a scale with a lot more ions then the other!  
So the more you chose, the better the ions for you~

While the diets and cook books posted on in-gender is the best one for gender swaying; some people find it hard to maintain.  The very next best diet (I think) to the one posted on ig is the French Gender diet(unless your ttc a boy and have high blood pressure; then do the alkaline diet).  This diet allows more food than the diet posted on in-gender.  Therefore, you have to be very strict even in the 2ww (no cheating ever!) The French diet can be done up two years without a breakAccording to the book you must be doing the diet for 2 1/2 months before ttc.  Now this book is in French; so if you can't read French don't bother buying it (if you can read French then do buy it!). HOWEVER, THERE is a English version!!  The French diet book looked at the original gender diet made in the united states and did there own experiments.  They use a much larger study group.  The following information has all be provided by Revedebleu.  She did the translation and dictation of the books; and has provided all the follow information: The name of the book is Choisissez Le Sexe de Votre Enfant: par la methode du regime alimentaire by Francoise Labro et Dr. Francois Papa


Boy Diet Recommendations
Main diet Foods Tea, coffee,fruit juice, bubbly drinks such as coca-cola. Wine, beer, and cider, Salted butter and ½ salted butter; All meats, All fish. These are more recommended: Dried fish and salted fish: Smoked fish: Canned fish: eggs can be used 1 to 2 times per week only . Pasta, rice, cornflakes regular bread, biscuits, cookies without milk, salted crackers Croissants, raisin bread,  cookies  All fresh vegetables, canned or frozen (except forbidden foods). All dried beans, All fruit, fruit juice 100%, dried fruit. Sugar, honey, Jelly, margarine without milk, olives, pickles, canned or boxed soups, bouillion cubes.There are certain foods that are to be eaten all the timeSalt everything, for lunch and dinner the main part is meat or fish.  You must drink 3 glasses of 100% fruit juice.  Also eat one fruit and one Banana every day.  Also once a day for a snack eat one of these: ham, bologna, dried sausages, jerky , smoked fish or canned fish.You must eat each week: Potatoes 3+ times, dried beans 2+ times: dried prunes, dried apricots, dried raisins, dried figs, dried dates 1 time per week,Only 1 salad max aloud per week; and use as much as you want of: mushrooms, olives, pickles and season things with bouillon cubes  Foods that are forbidden:All  milk, All mineral water .Cheese, unsalted butter, yogurt, cottage cheese, deserts with milk, cream based sauces, Shellfish, Shelled seafood Eggs as main dish. Authorized foods:

cola, wine, beer, cider, liqueur bacon, ham, smoked, salted or dried meats, sausages, ready made meats.Breaded fish  smoked fish, dried fish, salted fish, fish in marinade, fish in cans, shrimp and shelled fish, caviar, snail, all cheese forbidden ordinary bread, pasteries with chocolate, raisins, whole wheat breads, ordinary cookies, croissants, brioches, store bought cookies, quiches, pizza, popcorn, Parsley, spinach, cabbage and cauliflower, sauerkraut, avocados, fennel, raw tomato, soy dried beans such as split peas, chickpeas, lentils, Apricots, dates, figues, rasins, prunes, coconut Pineapple, peaches, apricots, cherries, bananas, oranges, melon, fruit juices,  Chocolate-dark or milk chocolate, candy, licorice: Table salt, celery salt, bakers yeast, baking soda, olives, pickles, commercial bouillion, mayonaise, vinagrette dressings, tomato sauces (including ketchup), prepared meals (instant meals), salted butter or
margarine, certain medications (bubbling effervescent). These items are all forbidden.

The 7 factors of swaying

The 7 sway factors was a term I came up with in 2008.  If you read my previous post on how its all connected you will understand.  You can't just pick one factor over the other as you do not know which one is most important for you.  Therefore you need to sway with all 7 factors at 100%.  The seven factors are:
  1. pH- this means the pH caused by diet, hormones, ions, supplements and douches. A douches is not as good as changing your pH through oral methods.
  2. Minerals- You NEED to track your Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium and Potassium.  For ttc a girl and ttc a boy you have different targets to meet.  Minerals are first obtained through diet then supplements.
  3. Diet- It is very important to stick to the gender diet as posted in the FAQ forum on IG.  1000's of hours have gone into this diet.  It is more than just a swaying diet as it encompasses  all the studies (gender diet, pH, ions, minerals) into one diet.
  4. Hormones-  This is only controlled through supplements, diet and drinks.  Studies show that  hormones play a huge role is swaying
  5. supplements- I put this in the 7 sway factors because it backs up so many of the factors. 
  6. Timing-  Many studies say that Timing does not work.  However 3 newer studies say it may.  Because of the new studies I have left Timing in the sway factors.
  7. Ions-  Ions can effect the polarity of your egg and your pH.  Ions come from many different sources and some people are as effect by them as others. 
I almost made cm an 8th factor but decided to leave it out due to confusion.  If you get the 7 factors right then cm should fall into place.  If not cm is very important and needs to be right.  For ttc a boy you want ewcm and for ttc a girl you want creamy to dry cm.
Pre-ovulation tempatures and the effect on swaying
If you watch your temps for 4 cycles you will see 2 are the same range of temps,then one might be high and one might be low.  Those two that are the same are YOUR normal (no one has the same normal).  The cycle that is low is boy cycle due to hormones causing your temp to be low, the cycle that is high is your girl cycle due to hormones.  The only way to know how your cycle is doing is to know what your normal is. Temps are showing you how your hormones are responding. Also a warmer than normal cycle cause your pH to drop because heat lowers pH.  Just as a colder than normal cycle cause your pH to rise.  Yes, a boy can be conceived in girl zone and vice versa.  But it wont sway as well because your hormones aren't swaying well.  Remember, everything is linked together.
Deeper explanation of how food is chosen for the diets
Hormones:  studies find that when a man has certain hormones in his body he will have a certain gender.  No one really knows why, they just know it works
pH:  Studies find that when a mans pH is high or low it will sway for boy or girl.  the reason is because it helps to energize or weaken certain sperm
minerals:  Studies find that when calcium, potassium, sodium or magnesium are in the semen it can help certain sperm to capitate faster than others
ions: in food ions help with pH. certain foods and minerals have more + or - ions (ions only effect dh with food and minerals; moon does not effect it)
temp of food:  hot foods lower pH, cold foods raise pH

Each food is effected in some way by these things
examples:
 red meat will raise testosterone, slightly lower pH, give lots of potassium, sodium, some cal and mag has + ions and if eaten cold will raise pH
Potatoes:  will raise testosterone, raise pH, is a power house in potassium and sodium, has no cal some ma, is +ions and when eaten as a potato chip will raise pH

Hormones
There are 3 main hormones when it comes to swaying (there are others as well for ttc but I'm not talking about those): Progesterone Estrogen and Testosterone. 
For ttc a girl you want:
Dw (darling wife) to have low estrogen, low testosterone, high progesterone (but not to high as it will delay O.
Dh (darling husband) to have low testosterone,and  high estrogen

For ttc a boy you want:
Dw to have high estrogen, high testosterone and low progesterone (not low in the 2ww however
Dh you want high testosterone, and low estrogen.

 There are supplements and drinks you can take to alter your hormones to sway for boy or girl.  These are listed in the FAQ section.  You also alter hormones by exercise (cardio girl, weights boy), and diet.
An interesting finding found in a Chinese study was that cycles have an average temp range.  Then, every now and they your pre-o temps will be higher than normal.  This would favor girl (means progesterone is higher).  Then every now and they your pre-O temps are lower than normal.  This would favor boy (means progesterone is low and estrogen is up).  So you will know your supplements are working if you can adjust your temps to either above or below your average for the gender you are ttc. I will go into a deeper explanation of this in another post
Those Crazy sperm
Here is info for sperm. 
Outside the body on a surface like a sink in a humid bathroom sperm can live up to 4 hours.  In an incubator at the perfect pH and temp they can live up to 48 hours.  In a glass container tucked into your bra they can live up to 24 hours.
In your vj the sperm swim into the cervix crypts.  In this crypts they can live in the perfect conditions (ewcm) at a max of 11 days (this is rare).  Average is 3-5 days.
Both x and y sperm have the same life span.  An 11 day old y sperm can live just as long as a 11 day old x sperm.
Now as for sperm speed, resilients, and size this is all debatable: 
Most scientist feel that x and y sperm have the same speed and resilients.  X sperm do have more dna and are slightly larger but this can not be seen on a scope- only micorsort can really tell the difference
Modified swim up scientist feel that y sperm are faster than x sperm and that x sperm swim in angles (which looks like circles on a scope).  They also feel that the 5% top swimmers are super x swimmers.

Seeking God for your plan
Many people ask me how to find a plan that is meant for them and how can God give it to you.  For me this isn't that complicated.  First off you need a personal relationship with Jesus.  Now this post isn't a preachy message for the "lost" rather an explanation how I found my plan.  See  I believe there is only one true God.  This God is full of love and compassion.  But there is a void between God and us; this void is sin.  Ya by now i have lost half of you because I sound  to much like 'church'.  Bear with me as I'm getting to the plan part..  In order for us to hear God clearly this void must be restored.  The only way to repair it is to accept the that we as a human race, as a person; are broken.  Face it, every where you look in the world you see bad people doing bad things.  Even good people aren't prefect.  But the great thing is that God has a fix to the communication break down!  Jesus!  He was on earth because God loves us so much that he HAD to fix our communication problems so we can see how much God loves us!  So the first step in finding Gods plan for you is having a direct line to God threw Jesus.  Jesus fixes this and all you have to do is ask Him.  Ask Him to over look and repair your brokenness; ask  Him to help you and that you are sorry for the things you do wrong and want to do right.  Ask Him to be the leader of your life and the planer of all things for you.  When you do this you can hear God directly.  He speaks in soft whispers and will guide you in your plan. See after dd2 came I started to dive deeply into the Bible to try and understand my plan. God TOLD me to go to the book of James (great book of the Bible by the way that talks about Faith).  Threw daily studding of these chapters God revealed to me my plan:  what supplements to take, what method to use; everything!  I have never heard God so clearly as I did while swaying for our son.  So there you go.. if you put your trust in God he WILL give you your plan one way or the other.

What foods should I avoid for swaying?

The tier diet is all you can eat.. .unless... you can take a food figure out  if it will make you have low or high pH, find out how much it has of the 4 minerals, and see what kind of hormones it has; then track it on http://www.fitday.com/  (without asking me how much does this certain food have because I don't have time to look it up), what kind of ions it has (food contains ions as well), the temp to eat it and how it all works together when put in a recipe.    Almost no one wants to do this so only eat what is on the tiers.
Every food item on the tiers has been researched for many days before it went on there.  Rarely do we find a new food and when we do we post it. 

How to figure out YOUR plan

  1. First read threw FAQ and really know it
  2. Next test your pH and dh pH before diet and supplements
  3. Do 2 or 3 practice cycles with a thermometer.  Make sure to mark in your Fertilely Friend chart when you get a +opk, when you have ewcm and it shift to creamy and when your cervix goes from soft to hard
  4. Know what kind of cm you have at the time you plan on attempting so you can figure out what supplements to take
  5. Figure out if you want to do extreme gender swaying, or not, and what timing method you will be doing.
  6. Be on diet and supplments (once you figure out what ones to take) for at least 6 weeks
